The purpose of Laguna Honda Hospital Volunteers, Inc. (LHHV) is simple: we are here to enhance the quality of life of the 1,000+ long term care residents who call Laguna Honda Hospital (LHH) their home. The wonderful volunteers at LHH give their time to provide one-on-one visits with residents, work in art classes, bring animals into the hospital, play bingo, serve in the pharmacy, work in physical and occupational therapy, run the gift shop, serve coffee, assist with medical records - and a thousand other tasks. The volunteers at LHH donate over 100,000 hours every year to the residents of Laguna Honda Hospital.
