Who We Are

Mission

Laguna Honda Volunteers, Inc., a non-profit organization founded in 1956, is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of the residents at Laguna Honda Hospital and Rehabilitation Center by funding non-medical programs and services that would otherwise be unavailable.

How we provide comfort and well being varies with the changing needs in the LHHRC resident community, the tribulations of the City budget and the requirements of the new facility that is under construction. Still, our purpose stays the same, sponsoring the programs and purchasing the equipment that make for a more fulfilling life for the residents.

Volunteer Board

The volunteer Board of Directors of Laguna Honda Volunteers, Inc. is made up of people who care deeply about San Francisco and Laguna Honda Hospital and Rehabilitation Center. Several of our Board members got involved because they had family members living at LHHRC and a few are continuing a family tradition of LHV Board participation. In 2007, we celebrated our 50th anniversary!
